Life in the Antarctica

Join us to explore the majestic landscape of the Antarctica. Yet this beautiful and very special area of the world is on the edge of environmental extinction caused by the effects of global warming. However, Macquarie University's Marine Science team are working hard to ensure the Antarctica's future existence.
Come meet one of the member's of the Macquarie University's Marine Science team. Enjoy the sights and sounds of marine life by exploring the exhibition.
Tour and Worksheets
- Choose an animal that lives in the Antarctica and describe their habitat.
- Find a photograph to present the argument to government for saving the threatened territories of the Antarctica and or tropical reef areas.
- Build small craft clay models of seals, whales and penguins based on photographs in the exhibition. You will be able to take your model home.
